Things to do in Destin for Thanksgiving

Gobble, wobble yourself to the Emerald Coast for Thanksgiving! Whether you’re in Destin for a vacation or you’re a local, we got you covered for your Thanksgiving plans. We have provided a list of restaurants open and also some events going on in the area. 


If you’re not in the mood to cook, there is a ton of special dining events offered on the day of Thanksgiving. We recommend calling ahead if any of these locations take reservations or make sure you check out their website for details. 



Beach Walk Cafe Henderson Park Inn: 

Enjoy a mouth-watering meal at the Beach Walk Cafe! They will be serving all of your favorite Thanksgiving dishes from noon to 5 pm. You must call to make a reservation. Serving only 13 and up. Additionally, each guest costs 75 for a three-course meal. View the menu and more here


Brotula’s Seafood House and Steamer: 

Brotula’s is serving up their 6th annual Thanksgiving buffet! This hands-free buffet will run from 11 am-6 pm. Their dishes will feature a unique twist on the traditional Thanksgiving favorites. Such as, gourmet deviled eggs, shrimp & grits, and they will have a carving station. The menu is large enough for all to enjoy. Marina Cafe: 


Marina Cafe will hold a Thanksgiving buffet this year from 11 am to 6 pm. The buffet will include Thanksgiving favorites like roasted turkey, caramelized sweet potatoes, and traditional bread stuffing. They will also provide some options outside the traditional Thanksgiving favorites. Such as blue crab in mornay sauce and honey bourbon-glazed salmon. Solaris Thanksgiving Yacht Cruise: 


If you’re looking for an entire experience on your Thanksgiving, book a reservation with the Solaris Thanksgiving Yacht Cruise. You will cruise through the Choctawhatchee Bay and enjoy a chef-attended buffet aboard the 125′ Solaris Yacht. Cruising from the Baytowne Marina in the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, the Solaris Yacht offers three decks to explore! This event is perfect for all ages, you won’t want to miss out on the fun. If you are looking for something a little more lowkey, here are a few restaurants that will be open the day of Thanksgiving. Skip the cooking and let our local favorites take care of the meal! 


Most of these places still request a reservation since Thanksgiving brings a lot of traffic to these locations. 



Stinky’s Fish Camp: Open 11 am to 7 pm!


Jackacudas: Open 11 am to 7 pm!


Boathouse Oyster Bar: Open 3pm to late - they will also have a live band playing in the evening. 


Vue on 30a: They will have a lunch offered on Thanksgiving. Open 11 am to 3:30 pm.
