Only pets whose owners have registered them and live in Destin year-round can frolic on the beach. The good news is, your leashed pet is welcome on the asphalt walkway which runs along Destin beaches. Luckily, we did the digging for you, here are some opportunities for more pet fun!
Explore the great outdoors with your dog at Destin Dog Park!
Rent a pontoon and embark on an adventure with your dog Rent from the pet-friendly company, Blue Crab Water Sports.
Grab the pup because it’s time to go shopping at Destin Commons! That’s right, our convenient outside shopping mall is pet-friendly. Destin Commons even has watering stations, convenient doggie pick-up bags, and plenty of pet-friendly restaurants.
Visit one of four locations for the 30A Farmers Market! Stock up on delicious produce, freshly baked goods, flowers, and more! The market welcomes dogs, and your furry friend will definitely get some belly rubs.
If you need to get those four legs moving, head over to Henderson Beach State Park. Explore the three-quarter-mile, pet-friendly trail with your furry friend. The trail provides a beautiful vista of the park from atop one of the dunes.
Last, but certainly not least, take your dog to the store made just for them! The Doggy Bag, a store that sells specialty dog food, toys, clothing, and more. This Destin gem also includes a “barkery”, with dog treats, cookies, and even made-to-order birthday cakes. Your pup will be drooling!
