Smile N' Wave Sailing Adventures Rebirth

Smile and wave, it's Captain Pam! She's Back! The legend is true... Back in early July, the well-known catamaran and her caption, Pam Kane, experienced a true catastrophe! While the world was being overwhelmed with the news of COVID, Captain Pam was also dealing with the devastation of her beloved, 31'-foot catamaran, which capsized due to a fast-moving windstorm. Luckily, Crab Island Water Taxi was there to help with the rescue. Their efforts and quick thinking helped in retrieving the people from the boat as it capsized. Everyone was rescued and returned safely to shore on the Crab Island Water Taxi.

As for Captain Pam, she plans on reviving Smile N' Wave Sailing Adventures along with her beloved catamaran. Before her catamaran capsized, all of her day trips offered the ability to swim, snorkel, look for dolphins, and watch the sunset on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. One of Captain Pam's favorite places to snorkel is called the Grass Flats. She takes great joy in seeing her guest experience and explore this diamond in the rough for the first time. Grass Flats is a favorite because of its unique shallow area that allows her guests to disembark the Sailing Catamaran in waist-deep water and hunt for treasures!

The Gulf of Mexico also hosts some pretty friendly Aquatic Mammals. One of which is the fellow dolphin. These cheerful animals are some of the gulf coasts' sweetest locals, and they are never shy when meeting new people! "We have thirty-five to fifty local dolphins who love to interact with the sailboat and passengers, and we get to see them on seventy-five percent of our cruises" (SailingInDestin.com). So, after a day of swimming, snorkeling, and hanging out with aquatic mammals, you'll get to Lay back and relax in the comfortable mesh of the catamaran swaying with the gulf's tides for a tranquil sunset to top off your day. The Emerald Coast is known for some of the most beautiful and color-filled sunsets.  As of right now, Captain Pam is currently at drydock in Pensacola. But waste no time in booking your tour, because her goal is to have Smile N' Wave back on the water by October 1st!
