Golf Cart Rentals

When you run out of hands to carry things to the beach, a golf cart comes in handy to help bring everything down. Many people like to cruise through back roads to restaurants with them too. Traffic in Destin can be rough so having a golf cart may actually get you there quicker! If you’re interested in renting a golf cart, here’s everything you should know ahead of time.

You must be 21 years or older to rent a golf cart in Destin. You must also have a copy or photo of your driver's license as well as insurance to rent a cart. If you happen to be staying in a community, check their rules to make sure you can rent a golf cart from an outside source. Some neighborhoods don't allow outside company golf cart rentals within their community. 

According to Florida Statute 316.2122, “A low-speed vehicle or mini truck may be operated only on streets where the posted speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less. This does not prohibit a low-speed vehicle or mini truck from crossing a road or street at an intersection where the road or street has a posted speed limit of more than 35 miles per hour.”
