The Harbeson House
Welcome to Harbeson
Harbeson is a fun little Downtown House just two blocks north of the Downtown Strip of Ft. Walton Beach. Harbeson is less than a mile from Okaloosa Island which is home to the finest beaches you will find in the continguous US. We are close to pretty much everything: dining, nightlife, concerts, parades, all the things you would expect from a downtown Florida beach town. One of my favorite venues each year is the Billy Bowlegs festival. Renting Harbeson puts you at the Ft. Walton Beach public beaches. There are 7 of them, plus the beach at the pier.
The history here is rich. The house was built as a Habitat for Humanity house, I understand for a Veteran. (Ft. Walton is a military town all the way!) I was so proud to purchase this home directly from the original vet. I completely remodeled the house, gave it some character, and named each room.

You can also enjoy a sunset dinner on our southern, screened-in patio

Close to concerts, farmers markets, and all the events at The Landing (waterfront park)
Golfing, biking, walking, parks,...there is plenty to enjoy
