Calling all goblins and ghouls! Destin is bringing a spooktacular Halloween weekend for our visitors and locals. Grab your friends and put on your best Halloween costume, we have your weekend plans covered.
Kick-off your weekend Friday, October 29th at the Destin Commons Halloween Haunt. The event invites all ages and is dog-friendly. Everything kicks off at 6 pm and will have a best costume contest, kids Halloween crafts, face paintings, and trick-or-treating.
Saturday, October 30th has a ton of Halloween events going on!
Start your morning off with McGuires Halloween Run. The course starts next to McGuire’s of Destin and winds along Choctawhatchee Bay on tree-lined streets and finishes in McGuire’s parking lot. The race begins at 9 am, registration is open through the day of the race (6:30-8:00am registration day-of-race.)
After the race, head over to LuLu’s Destin for the annual BooLu’s Halloween event. BooLu’s has an entire line-up of fun, Halloween activities for all ages. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, kid’s crafts, an inflatable play area, and live music. Trunk or Treat will feature trick-or-treating on the LuLu’s grounds during BooLu’s with various businesses and non-profits handing out candy treats. Registration and judging for the costume contest, by age category, will take place onsite. Best of all, the event is free!
After BooLu’s, make your way over to the Spook Street Trick-or-Treating event along the Destin Harbor. The event will also have a costume contest and trick-or-treating for the kids. Spook Street is taking place from 6-9 pm, if you plan on participating in the costume contest, costume registration starts at 5 pm. Additionally, the event will have trick-or-treating, a DJ, and fireworks at 9 pm. Both of these events will be a haunting good time!
Halloween day has a fun trick-or-treating event going on! Visit Halloween on the Boolevard, located at the Grand Boulevard! The event will run from 5-7pm and will have trick-or-treating for the kids. Wear your best-dressed costume and celebrate with the tenants at the Grand Boulevard.
